Completion of Advance Faculty Professional Development Training at Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand Engr.Rehan Masood, Assistant Professor at Department of Civil Engineering has successfully completed HEC – AIT Training on ‘Ensuring Training Effectiveness - ETE’ held at Ambassador Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand from 24th March to 11th April, 2014. There were 24 participants from different public and private DAIs of Pakistan including two officials from HEC, who fulfilled all the requirements of this training. Students form Department of Civil Engineering WON Scaled Bridge Competition at Punjab Youth Festival 2014 Around 300 students from different Universities of the country participated in Scaled Bridge Competition which was organized in connection with Punjab Youth Festival 2014. "Muhammad Javed Bhatti, Muazz Ali & Hafiz Muhammad Abdullah Javed" of Dept. of Civil Engineering, The University of Lahore was declared the winner for creating the most efficient bridge model having just 100 gram self weight containing 92% overall result.
