Admission Criteria

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

Minimum 60 % Marks in F.Sc (Pre-Engineering)/A-Levels/ Diploma in Associate Engineering (DAE-Civil)

Master of Science in Civil Engineering (MSCE)

Minimum CGPA of 2.5 in semester system or 60% marks in Annual system in BSc Civil Engineering for all four disciplines. However for the Environmental Engineering programme, students with Bachelors degree in engineering from other disciplines such as environmental, chemical and other related may be considered on case-by-case basis.
Minimum Graduate Assessment Test (GAT) score 50%
Passing written entry exam
Successful interview

PhD in Civil Engineering

Minimum criteria for the admission in PhD Program:
a) A minimum CGPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0 in the Semester System) or 60% marks (First Division in the Annual System) in M.Phil. /M.Sc. or Equivalent degree is required.
b) A subject test conducted by the National Testing Service(NTS) or ETS, USA in the area of specialization applied for PhD studies must be passed obtaining:
In case of GAT subject test, a minimum of 60% marks is required to pass the test.
In the case GRE subject test, the minimum of 60% percentile score is required to pass the test.
If the Test is not available in NTS subject list, then a University Committee consisting of at least 3 PhD faculty members in the subject area and approved by the HEC will conduct the Test at par with GRE Subject Test and qualifying score for this will be 70% score.
